The West Coast Swing

Here we go again!

We are officially less than 10 days away from another 5-week Ramsey Road Trip Adventure. This one will be taking us all the way across the country. Once we are finished with this trip, we will all have been to the 48 contiguous states!! This was our goal from the beginning of our travels!

If I have counted correctly, we will be visiting 15 different states and 17 different national parks!!!

There is no doubt in my mind that we will be driving somewhere around 10,000 miles on this trip! We would definitely appreciate your prayers for our family’s sanity! Haha!

Here is a general idea of the route we will be taking.

As you can see, we will mostly be driving straight out west until we get to the Grand Canyon. We are blessed to have family in Dallas that we will be staying with for a couple days!

And yes, we will be touring some of the Dallas Cowboys facilities while we are there!!!!

After the Grand Canyon, we will be visiting some of the amazing National Parks in Utah (Arches, Zion & Bryce).

Continuing west into California, we will visit Sequoia/Kings Canyon and Yosemite National Parks.

Heading north we will pass through Lake Tahoe, Crater Lake, Mount Rainier and then Olympic National Park.

We will then begin the long drive down the majority of the Pacific Coast of Washington, Oregon, & California.

Just south of San Francisco, we will turn back east and visit several other National Parks on our way back across the country. These will include Pinnacles, Joshua Tree, Saguaro, White Sands, & Carlsbad Caverns.

Carlsbad Caverns will be our last National Park, leaving us with three or four more days on the road until we get back home!!

There is still much to do before we leave, but we are very excited for another opportunity to make memories as a family!
